Join the ISCAs for an inspiring visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture! The museum showcases powerful exhibits that honor the history, culture, and contributions of African Americans, from slavery to the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in stories that have shaped the nation.
Please meet the ISCAs on the 1st floor of the University Student Center (by the elevators) at promptly 10:15AM tomorrow. Please be sure to arrive on time, bring your UPass/SmarTrip card, and wear comfortable shoes. We also recommend that you avoid bringing any large bags or backpacks because they may be subject to inspection. We look forward to seeing you there!
As a quick note, the following items are prohibited in all Smithsonian museums:
- Sharp items such as scissors, screwdrivers, or knives (including pocket or "Swiss Army" style knives)
- Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks
- Firearms, 3D weapons, explosives
- Aerosol cans, pepper spray, mace
- Food and drinks
- Placards, signs, or banners
- Pets (except for some service animals)
- Smoking
